We are thrilled to share the success of ChatMED’s first message transfer event, which marked a significant milestone in advancing human-centric AI in healthcare. The event was graced by esteemed speakers: the Minister of Health, D-r Arben Taravari, the Rector of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Prof. Biljana Angelova, and the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering – Skopje, Prof. Boro Jakimovski. Their inspiring words underscored the transformative potential of initiatives like ChatMED in bridging technology and healthcare.
We were proud to host a diverse audience from the IT, education, and healthcare sectors, fostering an open and thought-provoking discussions on critical topics such as the robustness, explainability, trustworthiness, and reliability of AI. ChatMED was presented as a solution driven by ethics and a commitment to prioritizing patients above all else. This event showcased ChatMED’s mission to build AI systems that are not only innovative but also empathetic, ethical, and aligned with the fundamental principles of healthcare.

Attendees spanned various fields, with significant participation from IT, education, and healthcare sectors. The event featured a mix of roles, including students, professors and associate professors, and specialists from the private sector, such as machine learning engineers, molecular biologists, and software developers. This multidisciplinary gathering emphasized the collaborative potential of bridging IT, education, and healthcare to drive human-centric AI solutions in medicine.
The ChatMED event not only facilitated vibrant discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration but also featured an inspiring art exhibition aimed at promoting the role of Generative AI (GenAI) in fostering cognitive well-being. The exhibition showcased creative works that highlighted the potential of AI in enhancing mental health and well-being, merging technology with art to demonstrate innovative applications of GenAI beyond traditional healthcare domains. This unique addition to the event underscored ChatMED’s commitment to exploring diverse, human-centered approaches to leveraging AI for the betterment of society.
