On September 24, 2024, we kicked-off the ChatMED project (grant ID 101159214), embarking on an ambitious journey to drive meaningful change. Together with partners from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering – Skopje – North Macedonia, Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana – Slovenia, Faculty of Medicine, University of Niš – Serbia, and Technische Universität Graz – Austria, this EU-funded initiative is focused on bridging the generative AI knowledge gap in medicine, with particular focus on neurology. Through capacity-building activities and cross-border collaboration, we aim to empower healthcare systems in Widening countries, bringing them one step closer to the EU.
