ChatMED Featured at the 4th Balkan School for Pediatricians in Skopje

On March 27, the ChatMED project was represented at the 4th Balkan School for Pediatricians, held at the Hilton Hotel in Skopje, where the project coordinator participated as an invited panelist.

The panel focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence in pediatrics, bringing together medical experts and researchers to discuss current opportunities and future directions. During the discussion, ChatMED contributed insights on how advanced AI approaches, including Large Language Models, can support pediatric clinical practice through improved diagnostics, decision support, and personalized care pathways.

The session also addressed key considerations for the adoption of AI in healthcare, including reliability, ethical use, and integration into existing clinical workflows. Participation in this high-level event further strengthens ChatMED’s role in fostering dialogue between the AI research community and medical professionals in the region.

This engagement marks another important step in promoting the responsible and impactful use of AI in real-world healthcare settings.
