ChatMED Research Nominated as Best Paper Candidate at BIOINFORMATICS 2026

A research contribution associated with ChatMED was nominated as a Best Paper Candidate at the 17th International Conference on Bioinformatics Models, Methods and Algorithms (BIOINFORMATICS/BIOSTEC 2026), held in Marbella, Spain, from 2–4 March 2026.

The nominated paper, “Entropy and Stemness Index–Based Quantification of Epigenetic Dysregulation for Machine Learning–Driven Stratification of Representative Cancer Types,” was authored by Djansel Bukovec, Goran Kungulovski, Sonja Gievska, and Monika Simjanoska Misheva.

The nomination recognizes the scientific relevance of the work at the intersection of bioinformatics, epigenetics, cancer research, and machine learning, and represents another important acknowledgment of research advancing data-driven approaches in biomedicine.
