We are pleased to announce a new Special Issue dedicated to advancing AI-driven smart healthcare systems, organized within the framework of the ChatMED Project (Horizon Europe, GA 101159214).
As AI transitions from experimental research to clinical infrastructure, the need for robust, scalable, and ethically aligned AI systems in healthcare has never been greater.
This Special Issue welcomes contributions on:
🔹 Large Language Models (LLMs) in healthcare
🔹 Clinical Decision Support Systems
🔹 Multimodal AI Integration
🔹 Patient-facing AI Systems
🔹 Ethical, Safety, and Regulatory Alignment
🔹 Computational infrastructures for real-world deployment
We particularly encourage submissions that bridge the gap between methodological innovation and practical medical implementation, including system architectures, deployment studies, human-in-the-loop designs, and AI compliance frameworks.
